FACULTY GOVERNANCE ELECTIONS TO BE HELD IN SPRING 2002

SOLICITATION OF NOMINATIONS

TO SERVE AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE “SERVICES AND CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION” CONSISTUENCY TO THE GENERAL FACULTY ASSEMBLY

 

 

In the Spring of 2002 there will be elections to vacant positions on the General Faculty Assembly. For those Faculty considered to be in the “Services and Central Administration” constituency these elections are handled by the Executive Board. Nominations, including self-nominations, of persons to run in these elections are solicited now. Names should be sent to the Secretary of the Faculty:

Immediate submission of names is encouraged and no names will be accepted after February 1, 2002. Elections will be held some time in March, 2002. Elected persons take office at the start of the Fall term, 2002 and hold office for three years.

 

The “Services and Central Administration” constituency is defined to be all Faculty who are not members of Colleges, or of GTRI or the Library. Colleges and GTRI and the Library perform the elections for their GFA representatives through internal elections.

 

This year three positions become vacant as persons complete the periods of service for which they were elected. For a list of all current members of the General Faculty Assembly see:
