  1. Campus Safety Walk scheduled for April 17, 2007 – 8:00 p.m. @ the Campanile.  We're gathering at Rocky Mountain Pizza at 5:30 p.m. for food and drinks before we start the Campus Walk.  (See attached flyer).  Jeff Hull the coordinator for the Campus Walk would like to hear from WSC for suggestions or areas of concern.  WSC discussed concerns with Klaus Parking deck.  Is it equipped with cameras, panic button, how do the emergency phones operate?  Please send any suggestions or concerns to be added to the Campus Safety Walk agenda ASAP! Nanotechnology Safety Resources (see attachment on Nanotechnology resources). 

GT received casual inquires about the Nanotechnology safety policy. 

    1. Concerns about development procedures
    2. Recommended safety practices
    3. Requirements/ installations to buildings
    4. Public perception
    5. Responsible control  - environment/faculty/staff

AJC featured one of GT's researchers in Nanotechnology - Z.L. Wang (see attachment on Z.L. Wang)


Occupational Health program is considering a contractor to cover immunization for students/faculty that work with animals/tissues.  GTRC is currently providing payment for the vaccines.


WSC suggested having a speaker to discuss developing a department plan for the Pandemic Flu.  (see attachment on Pandemic Flu).


WSC suggested having a speaker to discuss emergency planning quarantine on campus.

WSC suggested sending out reminders for each scheduled meeting.
