I.          Approval of Minutes of February 10, 2010

Mary-Frances moved and Nancy seconded the motion to approve the minutes with the change.

Unanimously approved

 

II.        Old Business

Chamber Choir – Janelle Love

Discussion: formatting issues, elections clarifications, voting clarificatioins,

Mary-Frances moved and Nancy seconded the motion to approve the charter with stipulated changes

Unanimously approved

 

III.       New Business

La Unidad, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity Jose Rodriquez

Discussion: formatting issues, clarification in election and removal process.

Mary-Frances moved and Melissa seconded the motion to approve the charter with stipulated changes Unanimously approved

 

Student Affiliates of the American Chemical SocietySoohee Cho

Discussion: clarification in name, elections, officer duties, expectations and dues

Mary-Frances moved and Nancy seconded the motion to approve the charter with stipulated changes

Unanimously approved

 

Baha’I Club – Jamie Fischer

Discussion: minor clarifications throughout

Melissa moved and Mary-Frances seconded the motion to approve the recharter with stipulated changes

Unanimously approved

 

            National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMAS) – Donniece Wright

Discussion: representative had to leave

Austin moved and Nancy seconded the motion to table the charter application

Unanimously approved

 

III.       Constitution/Bylaws Amendment

            10U035 Amendment to Undergraduate SGA bylaws – Melissa Pitcher

10U036 Revision to the Elections Code – Melissa Pitcher

Changes regarding elections code – defines freshmen students and transfer students and which representative’s elections they can participate in.

Discussion – Bill number 10U035 andU136 are not consistent with each other, U10U035 is correct, clarification that OIT sets the printing price, not the Library.

Mary-Frances moved and Austin seconded the motion to approve the revisions to the Elections Code and Undergraduate SGA bylaws with the stipulated corrections.

 

IV.       Danielle McDonald announced that the Service to the Institute Policy has been approved
