1.       Student Petitions Considered and Voted-Upon by the Committee

The committee reviewed two appeals and petitions tabled from the previous meeting as well as new petitions.  All were approved except as noted:


2-appealed committee’s previous decision to waive the 36-hour rule (1denied)

1-appealed committee’s previous decision to return Summer 2007 after first drop (denied)

5-to exceed maximum number of credit hours allowed (1denied)

1-Summer readmission after second drop (denied)

1-to waive the 36-hour rule

4-late withdrawals (1denied)

4-medical withdrawal (1denied)

5-late selective withdrawal in MATH 1501 (3denied)

1-to have CS 3600 removed from the transcript

1-to add credit for AS 2220, taken Spring 2007 to transcript

1-to remove “W” grade in PSYC 1101, taken Fall 2003 from transcript (denied)

1-to use “D” grade in MATH 1501 to meet degree requirements despite failing it in subsequent attempt
