1.       Student Petitions Considered and Voted-Upon by the Committee

The committee reviewed petitions tabled from the previous meeting as well as new petitions. All were approved except as noted:

 

5-to waive the 10-year rule

1-to count MUSI 1221 and 1222 as humanities credit

1-to re-instate CS 1171, Spring 2007

1-to receive credit for MUSI 3008 course taken twice

2-Fall 2007 readmission after first drop (2 denied)

1-to count 2 credit hours of ECON 2106 as free electives

7-late selective withdrawal, Spring 2007 (1 denied)

1-to count hours in MGT 4303 taken twice as graduation requirements

3-to waive the 36-hour rule (2 denied)

1-to change the grade mode in MATH 3770, Spring 2007, from pass/fail to letter grade

1-to increase maximum credit hours to 19, Summer 2007

1-to consider core requirements with less than required minimum hours (denied)

1-to change grade mode in PUBP 4698, Summer 2006 to letter/grade (denied)

1-to substitute Linear Algebra for Calculus II (denied)
