1.     Student Petitions Considered and Voted-Upon by the Committee

The committee reviewed 25 new petitions. All were approved except as noted:


1-to receive humanities credit for Spanish 1101 taken while studying abroad

1-to count GRMN 4813 as social science credit (denied)

1-permission to use transfer credit to meet MATH 2460 requirement after failing course at Tech (denied)

2-to waive the 10-year/36-hour rule

8-late/medical withdrawals (3 denied)

1-permission to register for 22 credit hours, Spring 2007
2-readmission after 1st /2nd drop (2 denied)

1-to re-register course dropped in error

1-to receive credit for MUSI 1201 taken a second time (should have been registered for

MUSI 2201 to receive credit)

1-to use grade of “D” in CS 1321 instead of “F” grade towards degree



2.     Petitions Handled by Administrative Decision

The following petitions met the guidelines for “Administrative Action,” and were decided by the registrar under the authority granted to her by the Committee. All were approved except as noted:


5-approved to return Spring 2007 after withdrawing Fall 2006

8-approved readmission Spring 2007
