1.       Student Petitions Considered and Voted-Upon by the Committee

The committee heard one in-person appeal and reviewed one written appeal as well as new petitions. All were approved except as noted:


1-in person appeal to return Spring 2007 after petitioning to withdraw Fall 2006

1-previously tabled, readmission Spring 2007 on third drop (denied)

1-written appeal to return Spring 2007after petitioning to withdraw Fall 2006

2-permission to compete in intercollegiate athletics while on academic probation

2-Spring 2007 readmission on second drop

2-Spring 2007 readmission on first drop, without sitting out one term (1 denied)

3-to exceed Spring 2007 registration hours

2-late Fall 2006 withdrawal and permission to return Spring 2007

1-to selectively withdraw or completely withdraw Fall 2006 (denied) and to return Spring 2007 (approved)

1-late Fall 2006 medical withdrawal (approved) and to return Spring 2007 (denied)



2.       Petitions Handled by Administrative Decision

The following petitions met the guidelines for “Administrative Action,” and were decided by the registrar under the authority granted to her by the Committee. All were approved except as noted:


1-to allow students in a section of ECON 2105, Fall 2006 to change grade basis to pass/fail or to drop it after the deadline

6-return Spring 2007 after withdrawing Fall 2006
