  1. There were no minutes to approve.  All previous minutes were approved via email.

  1. A motion was made to approve the recommendations from the Petitions Subcommittee for petitions in the following areas. The motion was seconded and approved.

  1. A motion was made to deny a petition requesting withdrawal from the Fall 2008 Semester. The motion was seconded and approved. A second motion was made to pre-approve readmission on an academic contract (first drop). The motion was seconded and approved.

  1. A motion was made to deny a petition requesting a selective withdrawal from a class taken in Fall 2006. The motion was seconded and approved.

  1. A motion was made to approve a petition requesting withdrawal from the Spring 2007 term. The motion was seconded and approved.

7.      A motion was made to table a petition requesting permission to double-count 6 hours from his undergraduate with a 3.48 instead of 3.5 (Graduate Course Option).  He also requested to use 15 hours of "unused" from Bachelor's when the limit was 12. The motion was seconded and approved. Note: The advisor from the major school will attend the next meeting to provide more information. On further review of the record, it seems that all 21 hours taken during his BS were unused.  So this means the petition is not focused on the need to request the Graduate Course Option a 3.48, but rather on the need to request 21 hours of unused course work instead of 12 hours unused course work.

  1. A motion was made to approve a request from the Building Construction Program for new courses. The motion was seconded and approved.
