The full Graduate Curriculum Committee met nine times during the year. The Petition Review Subcommittee (Hertel, McIver, Kilroy) met five times during the year to review student petitions.

Other activities included the review of over 150 graduate student petitions and the adoption of minor changes to existing graduate courses. A set of procedures for the approval of new courses and programs was drafted and reviewed.

The committee devoted 40 percent of its time to student-related matters, 20 percent to policy matters, and 40 percent to new course and program decisions.
