1.      A motion was made to approve the minutes of the February 28, 2002 meeting with corrections.The motion was seconded and approved.Unanimous.

 

2.      The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering requested the approval of the following new courses.A motion was made to approve the request.The motion was seconded and approved.Unanimous.

 

New Courses

CEE 6263Fluid Mechanics of Organisms††† (3-0-3)

BIOL/CEE 6764Biological Applications of Environmental Fluid Mechanics Lab (0-3-1)

 

3.                  The School of Literature, Communication and Culture requested the approval of a Science Technology and Culture/Industrial Design and Technology BS-MS Program. The program is similar to other programs previously approved but requires a higher GPA (3.5) to participate in the Graduate Course Option.After discussion, a motion was made to approve the program.The motion was seconded and approved.Unanimous.

 

4.      The School of Mechanical Engineering requested the approval of the following new course.A motion was made to approve the request.The motion was seconded and approved. Unanimous.
